Earthworks and leveling are conducted to exacting standards prior to asphalt road construction and then from the sand base, to the road base layer and then to the final covering of asphalt.

For rural roads and driveways we can chip seal them rather than a complete asphalt resurfacing. This is a lower cost alternative for roads with lower traffic density. Chip sealing is constructed by evenly distributing a thin base of hot bitumen or bitumen emulsion onto the prepared surface and then embedding finely graded aggregate into it.
